According to the reveals dropped by Geekdom101 during a livestream with content creator SLOplays, these mysterious Time Gods Of Destruction would sport a radically fresh design in the Dragon Ball universe. The insider claims to have seen at least 4 members of the faction. A 5th black-colored member could also serve as either a fusion or the group’s leader.

The look of these new entities draws directly from anthropomorphic dinosaurs styled after triceratops or pterodactyls. The choice fits perfectly with the game’s time theme since the prehistoric era naturally ties back to concepts of distant past and space-time continuum. Each member would come with 2 distinct combat forms. The first would be a cute chibi form clearly reminiscent of Digimon designs. The second would rock a massive, threatening adult profile built for the most devastating showdowns.

On the outfit side, these Time Gods wear Egyptian-style attire similar to classic Gods of Destruction like Beerus and Champa. The key twist comes from the usual kanji swapped out for a clock symbol. The art style leans more toward Toyotaro‘s touch than pure Akira Toriyama. The master did however oversee many concepts for the game before his passing in March 2024. No official visuals have leaked so far. The insider refused to share the internal artwork he consulted to avoid legal action from Bandai Namco.

The most explosive narrative implication of this leak concerns the exact role of these new gods in Dragon Ball‘s lore. Geekdom101 puts forward a bold theory. The Time Gods Of Destruction would fulfill the same role as Beerus and Champa but on the scale of timelines instead of planets and galaxies. In other words, they would hunt down and erase timelines that don’t preserve the balance of the space-time continuum. The setup mirrors exactly the TVA from Marvel’s Loki series.

This power creep would completely rewrite Dragon Ball‘s divine hierarchy. Zeno has reigned for 10 years as the multiverse’s most powerful entity thanks to his ability to erase entire universes. His supremacy would now be challenged by gods capable of destroying complete timelines. Some observers even take it further. These new time gods could become the franchise’s next power ceiling. The door would then open to absolutely cosmic battles well beyond anything Goku and Vegeta have faced so far.

The arrival of this faction would also tie into Xenoverse 2‘s final DLC, Future Saga Chapter 4. The content could serve as a narrative bridge justifying the disappearance of former antagonists like Mira, Towa and Demigra. A promising community theory links the appearance of the Time Gods to the corruption of Chronoa, the Supreme Kai Of Time. Her transformation would come from Fu‘s ultra super villain crystals spotted in the latest DLC trailer.
