Apex Legends Is Turning Players Into Cyberpsychos For Its Cyberpunk 2077 Crossover

The E-District map goes full-on cyberpunk for the whole event with a neon-drenched nighttime vibe packed with holographic koi and glitched-out corpo billboards. A massive Arasaka Citadel now takes over the central section of the map where the Energy Bank used to sit. The skybox rips straight from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime with the iconic anime moon floating overhead. Plenty of hidden Easter eggs referencing Johnny Silverhand and other megacorpos are also scattered across the streets for fans to spot.

The crossover ships 8 legend skins directly inspired by the iconic characters from Cyberpunk 2077 and Edgerunners. Lucy transforms Axle, David Martinez becomes Sparrow, Rebecca wraps Rampart, and Royce slides into Gibraltar. Base game fans can also grab Lizzy Wizzy on Ash and Panam on Loba to round out the collection. 8 weapon skins land alongside these too, covering the Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and Kraber. The cyberpsychosis kicks in as the third gameplay mechanic when both previous mods get abused too hard by the player. A dedicated meter fills up progressively with each use and eventually tips the Legend into this extreme state. The mode grants absolutely wild movement speed and colossal melee damage to the affected Legend. It totally strips the player from every gun, every ability, and every shield in exchange. Players have to track down immunoblockers scattered across the map to reverse this brutal process.
