Exo Rally Championship is an action, racing and simulation game developed by Exbleative and published by Future Friends Games. The game pitches itself as "the galaxy's most dangerous off-road racing event" and delivers a realistic simulation of exoplanetary rally across hostile alien planets. Players take the wheel of RCS thruster-enhanced rovers to tackle procedurally generated stages packed with extreme weather and terrain challenges. The career mode draws inspiration from Earth's most iconic rally events like Dakar and Baja.
Exo Rally Championship officially dropped on June 7, 2026 on Steam as part of the PC Gaming Show 2026. The launch was announced as a surprise during the livestream, after years of development and a demo tested during the Steam Next Fest 2025. The game is available right now on PC.
Exo Rally Championship is exclusively available on PC via Steam. No PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch version has been announced by Exbleative or Future Friends Games. The game runs on Windows 10 or above, with Steam Deck compatibility unconfirmed by Valve at the moment.
Exo Rally Championship is priced at $24.99 for the standard edition on Steam. A 25% launch discount is running until June 21, 2026, dropping the price to $18.74. Several bundles are also available: the Monolith Edition (game + soundtrack, -20% combined), the Exo One X Exo Rally bundle (-45% combined), and the Exo Rally X Starvester bundle (-22% combined). The soundtrack is also sold separately as a DLC on Steam.

No. Exo Rally Championship is not available on Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass at launch. The game is only sold on Steam as a standard purchase. No announcement about other subscription services has been made by Exbleative or Future Friends Games.

Exo Rally Championship is primarily a single-player experience with a full career mode. The game also offers asynchronous multiplayer through Online Rallies: players can share the same procedurally generated stages, compare their times on Steam Leaderboards, and tackle Daily Challenges that refresh constantly. There's no real-time multiplayer or shared lobby.

Exo Rally Championship runs on a deep physics simulation playable in first or third person. Players drive advanced rovers equipped with RCS thrusters (Reaction Control System) with limited fuel, letting them launch into the air, land, and steer their trajectory mid-flight. The gameplay blends realistic off-road driving (tire modeling, transmissions, suspensions and hardware damage) with traversal across alien planets featuring violent climates and extreme terrain. Players must customize, tune, and repair their rover between races through a proper management layer.

The career mode of Exo Rally Championship clocks in at around 20 hours according to Exbleative. The total playtime is significantly extended by Online Rallies, refreshing Daily Challenges, and the Stage Editor that lets players build custom stages on maps up to 10 km². The game also packs 23 Steam Achievements for completionists.
Exo Rally Championship is developed by Exbleative, an Australian 3-person studio. Jay Weston, creator of the indie hit Exo One in 2021, leads the team. He's joined by Rhys Lindsay (also behind Exo One's stunning soundtrack) who brings programming and music skills, and by Mark Billington who handles the math and physics for vehicle simulation. The project received funding support from Screen Australia through the Games: Expansion Pack fund.
The minimum specs call for an Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with an NVIDIA GTX 1660 (6 GB) or AMD RX Vega 56 (8 GB) and 4 GB of RAM. The recommended specs bump that up to an Intel Core i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with an NVIDIA RTX 3060 (12 GB) or AMD RX 6700 XT and 16 GB of RAM. The game requires Windows 10 minimum, DirectX 11 and 10 GB of disk space. An SSD is recommended by the developers to smooth out the procedural stage generation.
The first impressions on Exo Rally Championship are excellent. The Steam page shows 100% positive reviews at launch, with a "Positive" rating straight out of the gate. The gaming press and the Exo One community praise the faithfulness to the studio's atmospheric style, the depth of the physics simulation, and the originality of the concept of exoplanetary rally. Minor criticism points to the niche appeal of the simulation gameplay and the lack of a console version, which keeps the audience PC-only.
