Forza Horizon 6: All 10 Free Cars from Series 1 Are Up for Grabs, Here’s How to Get Them

The first Welcome to Japan Series of Forza Horizon 6 runs from May 21 to June 18, 2026 as a championship. It’s split into four seasonal weeks that rotate one after another, each bringing renewed challenges and different free reward cars with every rotation. To take part, you need to have earned your first Wristband in the game, which happens very quickly. No Trial directly tied to the Festival is included in this first championship, so players aren’t forced to race toward the Horizon Legend title. Every challenge centers on the theme of discovering Japan and is open to all.

The available challenges cover races, time trials, stunts and finding hidden objects. Each challenge awards points that unlock free reward cars. Here’s the full Series schedule:

• Summer -> May 21 to May 28, 2026
• Autumn -> May 28 to June 4, 2026
• Winter -> June 4 to June 11, 2026
• Spring -> June 11 to June 18, 2026

Here’s the full list of free reward cars available in the first Series, with the conditions to unlock them. Watch out for the deadlines: some disappear as early as May 28, 2026:

• 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II -> Vintage car. Unlocked by accumulating 500 points across the Festival Playlists. Available throughout the Series.
• 2008 Mazda Furai -> Championship 1 reward (May 21 to June 18). Requires 60 points in the Championship Playlist.
• 2010 Nissan 370Z -> Championship 1 reward (May 21 to June 18). Requires 120 points in the Championship Playlist.
• 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition -> Summer Playlist reward (May 21 to 28 only). Requires 15 points. Grab it before May 28.
• 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR -> Summer Playlist reward (May 21 to 28 only). Requires 30 points. Grab it before May 28.
• 2022 Pagani Huayra R -> Reward from the Street Fighter championship in the Summer Playlist (May 21 to 28 only). Grab it before May 28.
• 1989 Toyota MR2 -> Reward from the Hot Like Summer championship in the Summer Playlist (May 21 to 28 only). Grab it before May 28.
• 2021 McLaren Sabre -> Reward from the Throwback Throwdown championship in the Summer Playlist (May 21 to 28 only). Grab it before May 28.
• 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning -> Reward from the Floor It! challenge in the Summer Playlist (May 21 to 28 only). Grab it before May 28.
• 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB -> Reward from the Hide and Seek challenge in the Summer Playlist (May 21 to 28 only). Grab it before May 28.
