Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Goes Live On YouTube After Months Of Leaks
The Korean setting is officially on the table for the next big FPS. Activision rolled out a YouTube live stream on May 28, 2026 that should deliver the official reveal of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4. Development is handled by Infinity Ward under the lead of Mark Grigsby and Jack O’Hara.
A Korean Surveillance Camera Hints At The Game's Setting
The live stream currently puts viewers behind a surveillance camera watching a Korean street. The framing locks in the Korean setting already teased by leaks. Cover art dropped the day before by insider billbil-kun showed 3 soldiers alongside the hangul character 사, the Korean numeral for 4. The story would revolve around a war between the 2 Koreas, fresh ground for the franchise.
Infinity Ward confirmed on May 21, 2026 they were building what they call the definitive Modern Warfare. The full reveal is also expected at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, 2026. Launch is targeted for October 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
