Finding the right place to settle your Parafolks in Paralives matters. The town of Melino holds 44 lots total, split between houses for purchase, buildable lots and already occupied residences. Here is the complete guide, organized by neighborhood and by budget in Paradimes, to know exactly where to drop your bags.
Melino holds 9 houses already built and available for purchase without residents, spread across the three neighborhoods of Old Town, the Industrial district and the Countryside. On top of that, 10 lots are fully empty and buildable to start from scratch, and 25 residences are already occupied by Parafolk families. In total, 44 lots structure the real estate map of the town.
This guide is organized from cheapest to most expensive in each category, to help you quickly identify what matches your starting budget. Prices are listed in Paradimes, the game’s in-world currency.
Old Town holds the largest share of houses available for purchase at the start of a new save. Picturesque architecture inspired by old European towns, winding streets, lively plazas, and direct access to most of Melino‘s shops and community venues.
Located next to the elementary school, this house offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. An affordable option ideal for a family with children that wants to stay close to school infrastructure.
This house is set in the middle of the Old Town train station. It comes with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a balanced choice for two Parafolk roommates who each want their own privacy.
Located in the suburban area of Old Town, this house offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a windowless basement. The most spacious option in this price range, perfect for an extended family or a multi-Parafolk roommate situation.
This small apartment located on the main plaza of Old Town offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Compact but ideally located for a single Parafolk starting their career who wants to soak in the neighborhood vibe.
Perched on the Old Town cliffside, this house is the most expensive in the neighborhood with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Exceptional view but tread carefully if your Parafolk sleepwalks, the edge of the cliff is right there.
The Industrial Neighborhood is the most affordable option to start a save in Melino. Rougher urban atmosphere, direct proximity to the railway, and unbeatable prices for tight budgets.
This apartment, located right next to the railway, is simply the cheapest house in all of Melino. It offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Perfect for a fresh Parafolk with no savings who just needs a functional roof while launching their career.
Still in the Industrial Neighborhood, this apartment offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, an excellent space-to-price ratio for a three-Parafolk roommate setup willing to share the bathroom.
The Countryside lies away from Melino, in a rural setting surrounded by greenery. Two extremes coexist here: an empty manor to fully transform, and the most expensive house in the game.
The largest purchasable building in Melino. This manor located outside the town comes fully unfurnished, making it a massive construction and decoration project. The backyard features a charming small well and plenty of room to design an entire estate.
The most expensive house in Melino. This modern manor located outside the city offers 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and arrives fully decorated with high-end furniture and modern interior design. Reserved for Parafolks with a solid career or some serious luck with story cards.
Melino offers 10 fully empty lots for players who want to dive into Build Mode from the start of their save. From tiny plots for cabins to large parcels for villas, prices range from less than 1,000 Paradimes to over 10,000 Paradimes depending on size and location.
The cheapest lot available in Melino. Ideal for a micro-home or a minimalist project on a very tight budget.
Small lot accessible to the smallest wallets, perfect to start a save with a minimalist construction challenge.
Compact plot at a very low price, tailored for a first home built through your Parafolk‘s own sweat.
A step up in size and comfort. Allows for a functional home with a few proper rooms.
Similar to the previous lot in the same price range, with different orientation and location. The choice will depend on the aesthetic you want for your project.
Mid-sized lot suited for a modest family home with a garden. Good balance between purchase price and remaining budget for construction.
Lot equivalent to the previous one in size, with a slightly different location. Allows for a 2 to 3 bedroom home once construction is done.
More generous plot that opens the door to ambitious projects. Compatible with a large home or a small villa depending on taste.
One of the largest empty lots available. Suited for ambitious builds with multiple floors, garden, and outbuildings.
The most expensive empty lot in Melino. Its size and location justify the investment for Parafolks who want to build a true estate.
Melino is anything but a ghost town. 25 residences are inhabited by Parafolk families at the start of the save. These households cannot be purchased as-is, but their properties can be visited, and their estimated value gives a clear picture of the overall real estate market.
3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Surprisingly spacious for the price, a sign the Stanlons struck a good deal.
3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The Preston-Beaumont household lives in a spacious home at a reasonable price.
2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Same layout as the previous one with different decoration.
2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, plus a lighthouse. The most atypical setup in Melino, ideal for a solitary Parafolk in love with sunsets.
4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The most expensive residence in Melino. The Chens live in a true estate with about one and a half bathrooms per bedroom.
For a single Parafolk on a tight budget, the apartment at 24,848 Paradimes in the Industrial Neighborhood remains unbeatable. For a balanced family, the residence at 28,203 Paradimes in Old Town offers 4 bedrooms for under 30,000 Paradimes. For a full construction challenge, the empty lot at 644 Paradimes leaves 39,355 Paradimes of building budget on a starting cash pile of 40,000 Paradimes. And for ambitious Parafolks, the manor at 71,742 Paradimes or the empty lot at 11,980 Paradimes open the door to oversized projects.
Melino ultimately offers a rare variety for a life simulation game at launch. The question now is how the Paralives Studio roadmap will expand this real estate inventory across the two years of Early Access announced.
