Everything Announced at Sony’s Massive State of Play June 2026

The State of Play aired live on PlayStation‘s official YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok channels, with extra screenings in Alamo Drafthouse theaters across the United States. The presentation ran close to 90 minutes total, making it one of the longest State of Play broadcasts on record. The supersized format also kicked off Summer Game Fest 2026 week, with a packed schedule of showcases running through June 8.

Insomniac Games opened the broadcast with a gameplay deep dive on Marvel’s Wolverine, showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with the character’s signature healing factor. The rest of the lineup leaned heavy on third-party reveals, mixing remakes, ports, sequels, and brand-new IP drops from major studios. Sony confirmed Marvel’s Wolverine drops on September 15, 2026 as a PS5 exclusive.
