The handheld PC gaming market is about to welcome 2 new high-end powerhouses. ONEXPLAYER is rolling out the ONEXPLAYER 3 in June 2026, packing the Intel Arc G3 Extreme. The maker is also unveiling the ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro driven by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395. Both models stick to the 3-in-1 form factor blending gaming handheld, tablet and laptop.
The ONEXPLAYER 3 carves its place in handheld history as the first device shipping with Intel’s brand-new Arc G3 Extreme silicon. One-Netbook beats the MSI Claw 8 EX to market on this fresh chip. Here are the specs of the ONEXPLAYER 3:
The machine also features a controller connector with a built-in touchpad and supports a detachable keyboard for laptop mode. One-Netbook has yet to share pricing details.
The ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro takes the opposite route, going with AMD‘s Strix Halo platform already seen in the OneXFly Apex. Here are the specs of the ONEXPLAYER X2 Mini Pro:
The handheld lines up as a direct rival to the Lenovo Legion Go 2. Yanko Design floats a price tag potentially reaching $4,000 for the top-tier configuration.
The new ONEXPLAYER handhelds are landing in a market shaken up by the recent Steam Deck OLED price hike. Valve‘s console just jumped to $789 for the 512 GB model and $949 for the 1 TB version. The bump is pinned on soaring memory and storage costs. Even after that, the Steam Deck OLED holds a far more wallet-friendly position than the ONEXPLAYER models expected in a much higher price range.
Price aside, both worlds play in totally different leagues. The Steam Deck OLED runs SteamOS on a custom AMD Aerith APU tuned for battery life. The ONEXPLAYER 3 and X2 Mini Pro run Windows 11 with significantly beefier chips built for AAA gaming, creative work and productivity. The modular 3-in-1 form factor with kickstand and detachable keyboard also targets a different crowd from the Steam Deck, which leans purely toward on-the-go gaming.
