Capcom is set to broadcast a new Capcom Spotlight on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST / 6 AM JST (June 26). The 30-minute showcase wraps up what has shaped up to be a historic year for the Japanese publisher.

Capcom Heads Into June 25 On The Back Of A 9th Straight Record Year

Capcom just closed out its 9th consecutive year of record profits. The FY2026 fiscal year posted net sales of 195.4 billion yen (roughly $1.27 billion), a 15.2% jump year-over-year. The operating margin landed at 38.5%, an elite figure in the industry. Total game unit sales crossed 59 million units for the fiscal year, a brand-new all-time high for the publisher.

The performance comes off the back of stellar recent launches. Resident Evil Requiem moved 6.91 million copies in just 6 weeks after its February 2026 release. Monster Hunter Wilds now sits at 11.42 million lifetime sales since its February 2025 debut. Pragmata, the brand-new sci-fi IP that dropped in April 2026, padded the slate further. Devil May Cry 5 is also still cashing in on the bump from its 2025 Netflix animated series.

It’s the publisher’s 13th straight year of operating profit growth. Digital sales now account for 93% of total revenue, with PC alone representing more than half of all digital purchases. The digital transition fattens margins and lets Capcom pour even more cash into its upcoming flagship titles.

3 Heavy Hitters Take Center Stage At The June 25 Capcom Spotlight

The Japanese publisher is locking in 30 minutes of live broadcast on its official YouTube channel. The lineup centers on 3 major games:

  • Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection -> Free Royal Monsters update slated for summer 2026 and the paid Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC potentially pulled forward to fall 2026
  • Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen -> Major expansion bringing the new Norgan region, 12 fresh dungeons, and the Nintendo Switch 2 debut on October 9, 2026
  • Onimusha: Way of the Sword -> Long-awaited series comeback 20 years after Dawn of Dreams, hitting shelves September 25, 2026 with Miyamoto Musashi cutting through a Genma-infested Kyoto

The broadcast streams in English and Japanese with subtitles in 13 languages, French included. Viewers can tune in live on the Capcom YouTube channel. The official announcements stick to the 3 confirmed titles only. Capcom has made clear that there’s no room for surprise reveals outside that lineup.
